| Take the good with the bad. Smile with the sad. Love what you got. Remember what you had. Always forgive. But never forget. Learn from your mistakes. But never regret. People change. Things go wrong. Just remember life goes on.
Shit happens....life goes on! I'm glad I finally have closure....not so sure it's what I want though at least it's resolved. | | |

| - Chanson Pour Les Petits EnfantsWell this summer has been quite interesting. It's been good, bad, fun, emotional, and very over whelming. My experience in South Carolina is one I will never forget. Let me start by saying that Charleston is one hell of a place. It's beautiful. Me and Chip arrived around sunset and going over the bridge over looking downtown Charleston is just amazing. All of the sailboats were coming in. It was just too cool. While in Charleston I met all of Chip's crazy friends. Him and his best friend Tim took me out the night we got there. I experienced my first bar (Big Johns). It was a little hole in the wall place, but I didn't really care b/c I got all of the free alcohol I wanted. I ended up drinking waaaaay too much that night. It's hard keeping up with a bunch of mid twentie year olds, but I managed to. I think I was even more straight than them. I did, however, end up dancing on the bar. I did not get a free t-shirt though. That would have required me to take my shirt off, and I just don't do that for just anyone...luckily! We left the bar around 2:30 and go to some friend of tim's downtown. Me, Chip, and his friend Ryan decide to leave b/c there was some sketch stuff going on. So we go to the corner and catch a cab. We get to Ryans car back on James Island and go to the nearest Huddle House. The place was bumping at 3Am. I get a thing of hashbrowns, and Chip gets a triple cheese burger and two things of fries. We finally arrive back at Tim, C, and Mary's house at 4. We get to bed at 4:30, and have to get up at 9. We wake up to Tim jumping on the bed telling up we're going to the beach. All I wanted was a gallon of Gatorade. So I gradually get myself together, and me and chip and all of his friends head to Folly beach where I learned to surf. It was awesome. Granted there were hardly any waves, but I still managed to catch and ride one in. It was really exciting. We chilled on the beach for a while and went back to the house and had dinner; then we were on our way to CAMP HAPPY DAYS! Of course we get there really late, but early enough to go the nearest bar and grill place with all of the Happy Days staff. I could not drink anymore after the night before, but Chip and Tim got trashed again. I don't know how they do it. Anyway we get back to the camp at 2:30 and four of us sleep in this cabin we just find. Co-ed bunking is just not allowed at camp, but we did it anyways. We all get up at noon the next day and have to go work on the water front at 2. The kids showed up the day everyone was hung over. It was great fun. I was the only one feeling ready to go. hahaha. Me and Aleisha (lifeguard) met this girl crystal who happened to be rooming by herself, so me and Aleisha decide to room with her for the week before getting yelled out....again. Anyways Camp was amazing. I blobbed, went tubing, and swam across a lake and back at 6:30 in the morning. I got to know some awesome kids, and some awesome volunteers. The kids are amazing. I really connected with a few kids. Some of them you wouldn't even be able to tell they were sick. They really made me appreciate everything that I have. All of the kids are really special. Everyone should check out my pictures on http://community.webshots.com/user/margarita529. You'll see how fun it was. Oh man it was so fun. I will go back for as long as I can. It was such an awesome experience. Back to reality really sucks. I work 50 to 60 hour weeks. It's ridiculous. I'm actually doing this journal from work. How bad is that. I'm ready for another vacation, and one is coming up. I head to the Bahama's on the 29th!!! Yayyy!! I can't wait. Oh man well tell me how everyone's summer has been b/c mine has just been crazy! smooches | | |
